Anya Ink: For A Loved One

Happy Sunday, did you get a sleep in? It's finally raining here, so it was a snuggly start to the day.

Let's get straight into it, lots to share today.

First Up .... will you help me welcome our February Guest Designer, the wonderful Tasha. She's joining us from over the pond, in the UK and her work is so beautiful. Anya Ink: A Sketch for You

Phew, what a week ..... I have been pretty absent this last week, but I know the DT ladies have been popping by blogs and saying good things about the creations that were submitted. Thank you DT goddesses .... I knew I could count on you all.

Good morning, hope it's going to be a beautiful day where ever you are.

Seems like last week's Flower challenge was one people loved, we had a great number of entries, some new faces and some outstanding creations. Our Top 3 was a very hard choice, but here goes:

Tracey and I have been so blown away with our January Guest Designer, Fran, that we have asked her to stay on the DT permanently. And she said YES! Well .... I must apologise for last week's challenge, think it scared off so many people. We had our lowest ever number of entries and I am going to blame the dreaded one layer cards.

Those who did take part did a fabulous job - it isn't the easiest of things to master. Our Top 3 was also a really hard choice, but here is what we came up with:

Okay ... I promise this weeks challenge will be much, much easier. This week you need to create a project that:

Oh what a beautiful morning .......... how's everyone's Sunday going? Second week back for this year and already our participants have excelled themselves. A huge effort by everyone last week, some new faces and some ones from last year.

First up, a big thank you to Emma for her contribution last week as our weekly guest designer .... and this week, please join me in welcoming Amanda to the team.

Don't forget, one lucky participant each week will be chosen to join in with the Design Team and we are also on the hunt for a monthly Guest Designer as well.

Alright, this week's challenge is exactly that. A challenge. I know when I set a hard challenge, the Design Team are really slow getting their cards to me .... the last one arrived Saturday arvo in my inbox. But what they have come up with are very different examples of how to do this weeks challenge, so definately some inspiration here.

Introducing Our Guest Designer - Fran

Our January Guest Designer Fran, loves nothing better than spending time stamping when her little men are asleep. A stay at home Mum to twin boys, she came across card making and stamping when looking for a creative outlet and some 'me' time. She was introduced to Stampin Up and that snowballed into a love for The Greeting Farm and Magnolia stamps.

Fran's style captures a bit of everything, but one thing is guaranteed ~ she loves to create the wow factor. All of her creations have detail and eye catching embellishments and she isn't afraid to use a bit of colour.

Anya Ink : Black and White

Happy New Year! Hope you were able to bring 2010 in with style. A new year means lots of resolutions, changes and more fun. Anya Ink is back and the Design Team is ready to give you some great challenges.

New this year - we have two Guest Design team spots going on a regular basis ... one is a monthly spot and first up is the gorgeous Fran. Please welcome Fran into Anya Ink for the month of January.

Then everyone who participates each week has the opportunity to be chosen as the Guest Designer for in a fortnights time. This gives plenty of time to get the challenge completed. Our first weekly Guest Designer is Emma, welcome aboard Emma.

Now remember ... you don't need to have a blog to be chosen, joining in with the challenges will make sure you are in the running.
